Solutions

Our strength is not just offering an ordinary AWS. With our extensive skills and experience in handling various systems, we ended up with useful knowhow in integrating complex AWS – multiple network-based, where hundreds of AWS forming a single system to a centralized AWS server. Our AWS can comprise of sensors from multiple suppliers or as simple as single branded sensors based AWS, thus giving you the options to combine the best of breed sensors. This is achieved through our NX7260 series of data loggers that support various standard inputs. All our AWS have telemetry capability. Data can be logged locally or transmitted over wireless or wired network (Ethernet, SMS, GPRS or 3G) to another location/server.
The NEXTSense NX7260 is an intelligent data logger that offers a complete set of acquisition, processing, logging and dissemination features. It is designed especially for automated weather stations – where system reliability and flexibility are important. The NX7260 is compatible with most of the industry's leading weather sensors via its many built-in open and standard interfaces. It has been interfaced to anemometers (analogue, digital and intelligent), multi-element sensors, solarimeters, tipping bucket rainfall sensors, water-level and current profilers. It is capable of reading data from intelligent sensors using RS232/RS422/RS485 streams with regular expression parsers and also MODBus Serial and TCP/UDP protocols. Analogue sensors are supported via its on-board voltage/current inputs and also digital counter/frequency/bit-series inputs. Raw data from sensors can be converted to engineering values via linear, quadratic and mapping formulas. Our logger includes the capabilities to generate WMO message format that suits your requirements. The output generated is compatible with various messages switching software for transfer to GTS link or direct transfer to a GTS link, so that it can be routed to other systems components.

AWS Deployment in Malaysia - AAWS Case Study
NEXTSense AWOS is built from the experience and knowledge acquired over the years in deploying various AWOS related projects in the region – Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Our NEXTSense AWOS is a flexible system where we allow our users to choose sensors from various providers so that they can benefit from having best of breed solutions, and more importantly not locked in to a specific vendor. It offers the flexibility the system operators to change the sensors to suit its environment. In our AWOS, we also offer a new twist to conventional data acquisition. System operators can choose not to use a data logger at the runway thus reducing the cost of investment. We deploy data acquisition converters and signal processing to transfer the sensors readings directly to data processing server and display so that cost savings can be achieved in not having to invest on a data logger. More importantly, this design decouple the sensors from a data logger allowing the project owner to easily maintain the system eventually. Of course, the option of having a data logger capable of more acquiring, processing and storing the data option is always available for deployment. The system processes the data in real time and run on a web platform. The system can be accessed using a web browser either on a PC or mobile devices (tablet or smart phones). All the algorithms for the meteorological elements confirm to ICAO requirements.

The Grisan RWS – 200 Designed primarily to collect rain water samples for analysis , the sampler is constructed from chemically clean materials, designed for accurately separating and collecting both total precipitation and total particulate deposition for later laboratory analysis of PH, conductivity, and specification. The Grisan RWS-200 Wet and Dry Rainwater Sampler is particularly suited for Acid rain experiments, to enable investigations of rainwater composition and acidity. The sampler is controlled by electronic controller, which was designed specifically to control the rainwater sampler. For more information, please download Grisan RWS-200 Brochure

The GS-5000 is a high volume ambient Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) air sampler Manual flow controlled TSP particulate samplers are and economical choice for basic TSP reference method sampling. They feature a simple manual motor adjustment to set the flow rate. The manual flow adjustment allows the user to adjust the motor speed manually to arrive at the desired flow rate. These systems do not have a flow controller and require regular adjustment to the manual speed control to maintain the desired flow rate. For more information, please download Grisan GS-500 Brochure
